Serum Bilirubin:-
                        1. Total Bilirubin
                        2. Direct Bilirubin
                        3. Indirect Bilirubin

1. Total Bilirubin:- 

Reagent: - R1a , R1b and R2     -( Reagent Constant )
     
Procedure:-  
                       Take 2  Test Tube

  

                                 R1a 500 µl + R1b 500 µl                         R2 1000  µl 

                                                     +                                                       +

                                          100 µl Serum                                  100 µl Serum

                                                                               + 

                                                                               + 

                                                       For 10 Minute In The Dark Place

                                                                                + 

                                                           Then Reading on Analyzer 

 Normal Value:-  0.4 - 1.1 mg/dl

  2. Direct Bilirubin:-

Reagent: - R1 - R2  and 0.9% Nacl

 

Procedure:-  
                       Take 2  Test Tube 

 

                                 R1a 200 µl + R2b 50 µl                                R2 200 µl + R2 NO

                                                   +                                                             +

                                 ( 0.9% Nacl ) 2000 µl                              ( 0.9% Nacl ) 2000 µl

                                                   +                                                              +

                                          Serum 200  µl                                         Serum 200 µl      

                                                                                    +  

                                       Mixed well and incubate for 10 minute at room. at (37'c)  5 minute 

                                                                                     +

                                                              Then Reading On Analyzer

 Normal Value:- Up to  0.3  mg/dl

3. Indirect Bilirubin:- 

                    Total Bilirubin - Direct Bilirubin  = Indirect Bilirubin
