Estimation Of -Blood Sugar/ Glucose IN LAB

Collection/Advice :-

1. Dont Take any food at least  10 hours.
2. Dont Take any pill/drugs at the same time. if the DR advice then it will be taken.
3. After 2 Hr :-  When finish Fasting Collection then Take some food and 2 hrs letter collect 2nd sample.
4. In OGTT  -take 75 gm glucose and after 2 hrs collect Blood. Glucose must take after fasting collection without any food.

*Method: Enzymatic Colorimetric End Point Method.

*Reagent: Buffer+Enzyme = Working Reagent

*Standard:   working reagent (1ml) + Standard reagent (10 µl )
take at 3 test tube and average value is standard value.

* Concentration of standard is given with solution.

*OD of  Test:-
1000 µl Working Reagent + 10 µl PT Serum
                        +
            Wait For 10 Minute
                        +
       Take Reading On Colorimeter

*Calculation:-
OD of Test / OD of  Standard * Concentration Of Standard.
